Local Missions

KBC and its members are involved in a variety of local missions throughout greater St. Louis. Here are the local ministries we work with and/or financially support

Family Food Pantry

The Family Food Pantry is a ministry funded by KBC, but supported by numerous partner churches and individuals.  The pantry serves the local and immigrant population in south St. Louis centered around the Bevo Mill area.  Space is generously provided by the Jubilee Church at Chippewa and Kingshighway and the pantry is open every Saturday morning.  The work of the pantry is to show the love of Christ by providing nutritional support to those in need and to forge connections within the community.

Friendship International

Friendship International is a weekly group dedicated to acclimate foreign-born women who have moved to St. Louis. They meet at 2nd Baptist Church in St. Louis.

Hands On Kirkwood

Hands on Kirkwood brings together people in order to serve the Kirkwood community together. Many are driven by their faith and desire to help others. No matter the reason, as we serve together HOK hopes to cultivate a spirit of community cooperation and unity.

International Fellowship

International Fellowship is a ministry in south Saint Louis city staffed by CBF Field Personnel Sasha & Mira Zivanov.  Their ministry began among the many immigrants from the former Yugoslavia, but now touches neighbors from many countries through hospitality, friendship, and translation services. Volunteers are needed for their many activities, and their Advisory Team is open. To volunteer, donate, or learn more click here.
