There are a variety of ways for churches, organizations, or individuals to participate in Hands on Kirkwood. Below is a description the various HOK partner relationships. We invite you or your organization to get involved in the manner which best suits your needs or resources. If you are only looking to volunteer on the day of the event, click here.
Leadership Partners
Individuals, churches, and organizations who make a full investment in Hands on Kirkwood including but not limited to financial contribution, volunteer enlistment, steering committee leadership, communication and promotion and support of the overall direction of HOK. Organizations leading the way in 2011 include Concordia Lutheran of Kirkwood, Harrison Avenue MBC, Kirkwood Baptist, and St. Louis Community College at Meramec. Serving Agencies
Agencies receiving volunteers to help with their service to the community. 2011 Serving Agencies include Father Dickson Cemetery, Kirk Care, Kirkwood House, Kirkwood Parks and Recreation, Mary Culver Home, MSD, Nurses for Newborns, the Rose Hill House, St. Agnes Home, and Webster-Kirkwood Shepherd’s Center.

Sponsors
Individuals or organizations that provide resources – financial or otherwise – for Hands on Kirkwood. 2011 Sponsors include American Legion, Commerce Bank, Combs Auto & Tire, Deb Lavender, Great Harvest Bread Co., Kiwanis Club of Glendale-Kirkwood, Midwest Recycling Center, Nestle-Purina, Shred-It, Radio Disney, State Senator Eric Schmitt, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, West County Vision Center, Westwood Automotive, and Zisser Tire & Auto.
Friends of HOK
Individuals or groups who join in and/or participate in projects with Hands on Kirkwood but do not participate in the leadership team. 2011 Friends of HOK include the Community Gospel Choir, First Presbyterian Church Kirkwood, Kirkwood Early Childhood Center, the Kirkwood Human Rights Commission, KHS Social Justice Club, Kirkwood Police Department, Kirkwood Police Chaplains, Kirkwood Public Library, Kirkwood Rotary, Kirkwood United Church of Christ, Kirkwood United Methodist, Kirkwood YMCA, Schnuck’s, Shop N Save, Scout Troops, and Webster Groves Christian Church.
Volunteers
Individuals who sign-up to serve in the community through various projects prior to and/or on the day of the event. All members of the community are welcome to volunteer.
