A new year of Bible Study begins at KBC.  There is a place for everyone in your family as we gather in small groups to study the Bible at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday.  Preschoolers, Children and Youth all have age-graded classes that offer developmentally appropriate learning activities.

 This is an exciting day for the children of Kirkwood Baptist Church.  Our Kindergarteners will join us in worship for the first time and 1st graders will receive a Bible.

Each Adult Bible Study class has something unique to offer.  You can choose to be involved in a systematic study of scripture or join a class that is involved in a topic of interest to you.  Topics range from the role of church in government, spiritual disciplines, practical applications of scripture, contemporary authors and other media.  Each class offers a safe place to explore the Bible.

This new ministry is welcomed under the umbrella of Global Women.  Looking to meet the needs for encouragement, study, and service, this group will be dynamic in its approach based on the needs, interest, and time of women who are on the move.  While women constantly shift roles from caring for family, to working outside the home, to volunteer service, the goal is for this gathering to be a space where the role as precious child of God is nurtured.   For more information contact Donna Watts at the church office.

Kirkwood Baptist Church is turning 140 on July 4th. Come celebrate with 140 hours of art, concerts, movies, games,  food, and fun for the whole family starting July 2nd, ending with a big splash on July 10th. Schedule of Events.

Global Women on the Go!

Please join us for a Global Women Luncheon at KBC on Wednesday, July 7 at noon. We will celebrate with our Global Women sister, Arana Nessipbekova, from Kiev, Ukraine, who will share her story with us.
Last year Cindy Dawson and others, including Linda Liebman, met Anara who was Global Women’s contact person in Central Asia. They all attended a Women’s Conference at the Kazak Baptist Church in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Women traveled from all over Kazakhstan to attend the conference which focused on ministry to other women.
