Welcome to Adult E —the department for "everyday" people!
Not to be cliche, but "e" is an appropriate appellation for our group. We live in the fast-current mainstream of today's high-speed, high-tech e-society.
We're baby boomers/busters. We're parents who are constantly on the run. We're professionals and business people who can't always squeeze a workday into eight hours.
We're not people who readily accept "pat" answers to questions about God, the Bible, or what it tells us. So, here, in a safe, small-group atmosphere, we are seekers of the truth…not necessarily what society, media or organized religion calls "truth", but real truth.
We have several study groups, each offering a somewhat different approach for questioning and learning. Some groups offer study and discussion guided by Smyth & Helwys Formations curriculum. Other groups use a variety of study resources including book studies, media clips, or topical discussions.
The love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ has bound us into a community of caring and sharing. We help each other when problems complicate our hectic lives. In a dot-com world that won't slow down, we've found a place where we can stop, give a handshake and get a hug, take a breath and recharge, and then jump back into the race.
So, slow down and come in next Sunday, and have a cup of coffee with us. We're ready to be your friends...not just your "e-pals".
