Greg Lundberg began his responsibilities as Associate Pastor for Music and Worship at KBC on August 7, 2006. He is married to the love of his life, Polly, and they have 2 daughters, Ashley and Chelsea. Ashley is a freshman at the University of Minnesota where she plans to study Music Therapy. Chelsea is a junior at Parkway South High School. All of the Lundbergs share a deep love and appreciation for the musical arts.

Born in Owatonna, Minnesota, Greg earned a B.A. degree from Judson College, Elgin, IL; an M.C.M. degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY; and a D.W.S. degree from the Institute for Worship Studies, Jacksonville, FL. He was ordained in 1985.

Greg served churches in Georgia, North Carolina, Illinois and Minnesota before coming to KBC. He is past president of the Fellowship of American Baptist Musicians, an organization which provides music training for ministers of music from all over the United States. The Conference for Church Musicians is held each summer in Green Lake, WI.

Greg is passionate about leading people in authentic worship and making music to the glory of God. "We are all worshipers, 24/7, so the question is not if we worship, but what we worship. What holds our focus in this life? Music is a spiritual gift to us. When we sing in worship, we come in contact with the Eternal One. Music can take you places in worship that nothing else can."

Greg likes to spend his free time with his family, listening to music of all kinds - (classical, film scores, light pop, bluegrass, jazz fusion), enjoying foods of all kinds, reading deeply, running and spending time out doors. He loves baseball (cheering for the Twins in the A.L. and the Cardinals in the N.L.) and football as he avidly cheers on the Vikings. Greg's second favorite team in the NFL is anyone who is playing the Chicago Bears.
