Linda Bryan began the Counseling Ministry at Kirkwood Baptist Church in 2005 when she began her internship for her Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary. Linda has been in Ministry since 1998 and considers counseling an opportunity to therapeutically enhance both emotional and spiritual well-being for her clients. When asked how she approaches counseling, Linda said, "We look Biblically at the Creator's plan for humanity, the effects of the fall in the life of the client and the character and nature of God and what He wants in a life that honors Him. I adhere strongly to family systems and person-centered techniques with an emphasis on respect for my client who is made in the image of the triune God. It is pure delight for me to see clients leave their pain behind, for the abundant life God intends." Linda counsels with families, individuals and couples.
Linda was born on a farm in rural southeastern Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Southeast Missouri, and both her Master of Arts in Theological Studies and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary.
Linda and her husband, David, enjoy life in the city in a neighborhood of older, historic homes. She loves reading, quilting, gardening, cooking, movies and traveling with her husband.
