GO Sunday - Adult Bible Study Options at KBC

Six home base classes use “Formations,” published by Smyth & Helwys for study.
Fall 2007 Topics

September: The Matriarchs October: Jesus’ Lessons in Financial Management
November: Creation December: The Coming of Christ

Glen Calvin, Marilyn Minich and Caroline Penberthy Room 239
Known for caring, the Joy Class thrives on taking care of members’ and others’ spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional needs.

Dorothy Cunningham & Peggy VanAsdale Office Conference Room
This small group class studies and discusses the Bible while trying to find its relevance to daily life.

Jerry Schober Room 328
Consisting primarily of couples between 60 and 80 years old, this class is made up of those who love to live by God’s Word.

Linda Bryan, Janis Dickerman and Marshall Hier Room 323
The Agape Class is open to all. They share burdens and joys, pray together and help each other.

Mike Howe & Carla Hickman Mezzanine — 3rd floor
Come stop, take a breath and recharge, and then jump back into the rat race. When problems arise, help is offered.

Roger Richardson Room 304
Open discussion and social interaction based on Formations materials supplemented by study segments of class interest.

Choice Studies
Four “home base” classes choose study topics based on participant interest. All are welcome for one or all topics!

Phocion Park Room 328A
This class studies the Bible one book at a time at your own pace. The class picks the book and sets the study pace.

Jody Clegg Room 320
Receiving the Day: Christian Practices for Opening the Gift of Time by Dorothy Bass. Each day as a gift from God.

Theresa Maxwell and Dan Bean Parlor
The Faith Club: This study merges the stories of 3 women, their 3 religions and their urgent quest to understand each other.

Mary Hastings and Team Room 330
On Go! Sunday, come for breakfast, get to know each other and make plans for 2007. Before Hands on Kirkwood on October 13th, this class will put Sunday School lessons into practice while spending September involved in a variety of mission projects.
