Collecting at KBC...
Please help meet needs by participating in these collecting opportunities:
1) Kidsmart
The Global Women at KBC need your help collecting new back-to-school items for "Kidsmart." Kidsmart is a non - profit organization that donates classroom items to teachers for needy children in the greater St. Louis area. Place your new items, (Crayons, Pencils, Glue, Markers, Paper, Notebooks, Kleenex, Hand Sanitizer, etc.) in the special Kidsmart barrel outside the Great Hall at KBC.
2) St Louis Food Bank
In partnership with the Saint Louis Area Foodbank, KBC is accepting donations for the ICAN (Interfaith Communities and Neighborhoods) food drive. A donation container is available at KBC at the entrance to the church office.
Items needed include personal care items (diapers, wipes, toothpaste & toothbrushes, facial tissue, deodorant, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, shampoo, conditioner, combs, disposable razors, etc.) and food (formula, baby food, canned fruits & vegetables, peanut butter, canned meat, rice, beans, beef stew, canned soups, hot or cold cereal, etc.)
