There's a place for you at Kirkwood Baptist Church.

Kirkwood Baptist Church was founded in 1870 and from that time to the present KBC has embraced the call of the Gospel to live spiritually in Christ, to live in community with Christ, and to serve passionately for Christ.

As our ministries and partnerships reflect, KBC is a church that values both tradition and innovation. Within our tradition, we find meaning and value. Because we are Baptist, because we are Protestant, because we are Christian, we have a rich heritage that impacts the way we view and live out faith. We love our family tree and are grateful to those who went before us, striving together to faithfully be the presence of Christ in their community and around the world.

However, KBC recognizes that the world and the needs of the world are constantly changing. Therefore, in order to be relevant in today’s world, in order to influence today’s people, and in order to respond to today’s needs, the church must be innovative and creative. The Church must be willing to listen, see, and respond in new ways as we strive together to faithfully be the presence of Christ in our community and around the world.
